The Rotary Club of Hampton Bays recently donated 16 “Stop the Bleed” kits for each lifeguard stand at Southampton Town Beaches. Stop the Bleed kits are designed to provide immediate care for severe bleeding before professional help arrives and enhances the Ocean Rescue teams first aid inventory. Kits contain essential supplies like tourniquets, gauze, and dressings to control bleeding and prevent further blood loss, acting as a "CPR for bleeding.” Pictured (l to r) here are Hampton Bays Rotarians Lars Clemensen, Mike Morgan, Brian Babcock, Jen Silvestro, Dottie Macaluso, Dawn Long and Southampton Town Chief Lifeguard Ann Naughton.
